Larry L. Lighthart

Larry L. Lighthart, 44, of Grand Forks, ND died Friday, October 19, 2012 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Lawrence Leon Lighthart was born on June 22, 1968 in Melrose Park, IL, the son of Lawrence and Linda (Spicer) Lighthart. Larry had the opportunity to live with the Steve and Susan Briske family of Ardoch, ND and had a special relationship with the Mike and Joellen Thacker family of Fergus Fall, MN. Larry has resided in Grand Forks for several years and worked at PS Doors and the Blue Moose Restaurant. Larry especially enjoyed going to the car races, watching the MN Vikings and visiting with all of his family and friends. Larry is survived by his father, Lawrence (Sheila) Lighthart of Wickenburg, Arizona, his mother, Linda Sierra of Longmont, Colorado and his brother Donald (Jocelyn) Minette and their son, Dorian of Longmont, CO and his aunt, Marlene Spicer of Grand Forks. He is also survived by Susan Briske of Grand Forks, Bob and Linda Garber of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, Jim and Theresa Briske of Grand Forks , Bill and Kathy Briske of McKinney, TX and Mike and Joellen Thacker of Fergus Falls, MN The funeral service will be held at the Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd. St. Grand Forks at 10:30AM on Wednesday, October 24, 2012. Visitation will be for 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Ardoch City Cemetery, Ardoch, ND.
