Bridget Lauinger Spenst

Bridget M. Lauinger Spenst, 61, died October 24, 2012 in Jamestown, ND. Our beloved wife and sister, Bridget was born February 12, 1951 in Devils Lake, ND, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Schwan) Lauinger. She was raised and educated in the Devils Lake area, first in Morris Township of Ramsey County, then in Warwick, ND. She graduated from Devils Lake Central high school in 1969. Bridget graduated from Lake Region College as a Practical Nurse in 1971. She married Gary Spenst on February 15, 1986. They lived in Devils Lake, Minot and Grand Forks. Survivors include her husband, Gary, Grand Forks; brothers, Ron Lauinger, Grand Forks and Joe Lauinger, Missoula, MT; sisters, Louise (Larry) MacDonald, Grand Forks, Kathleen (David) Vestal, Greenville, TX, Joan Lauinger, Walnut Creek, CA, Loretta Lauinger, Lawrence, KS and Mary Ann (Leo) Even, Wheatland, WY; numerous nieces, nephews , great nephews and aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 30, 2012 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Burial will be 3:00 PM Tuesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery of Devils Lake, ND
