Elizabeth Ann Anderson

Elizabeth A. Anderson, 85, Grand Forks, died Monday, January 14, 2013 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Elizabeth Ann Gamme was born to Elmer B. and Mildred (Propp) Gamme on August 6, 1927 at Beltrami, Minnesota. She married William E. Anderson on October 12, 1946. Elizabeth was employed by East Grand Forks Federal Savings and Loan until retiring in 1985. She owned and operated "Bit Of Norway" from 1990 to 1997 in Grand Forks. She was an active member of United Lutheran Church and Sons of Norway Gyda Varden Lodge. She is survived by a son, Bryan D. Anderson, Creede, CO; sisters, Charlotte (Glenn) Olson, Cando, ND, and Lois (Robert) Miller, Bottineau, ND. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Becky Jo Anderson; her husband William; and her parents. Memorial Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 19, 2013 in United Lutheran Church, 324 Chestnut St., Grand Forks with visitation one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Fertile, Minnesota.
