Boyd F. Giese

Boyd F. Giese, 79, Rural Euclid, Minnesota, died Saturday, February 9, 2013 in Valley Memorial Homes Eldercare Center. Boyd Fuller Giese was born to Adolph and Emma (Fuller) Giese on October 17, 1933 in Grand Forks. Boyd is a 1963 graduate of the University of North Dakota. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Boyd farmed with his family at Rural Euclid, MN. He is survived by his siblings, Shirley Sanderson, Northwood, ND, Conrad Giese, Rural Euclid, MN, Meryl Barry, Grand Forks, ND, and Joan Guerard, Walker, MN; nieces and nephews, Jane (Terry) Belanus, Linda (Jay) Croy, Michael Guerard, John (Mary) Sanderson, Mary (Charles) Gravdahl; grandnieces and grandnephews, Lisa (Gordon) Richards, Matthew (Sarah) Belanus, Mary Belanus, Mark Sanderson, Soren Sanderson, Peter Gravdahl; great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews, Peyton Richards, Croix Richards, Samuel Belanus, Mae Belanus; Third Cousins, James Kamnikar, Jane-Rose Giese, and Anna Kamnikar; also many cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents; a special aunt, Claire Giese; one grand niece and one great-grandniece; aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services: will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2013 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Euclid, MN. Visitation: will be from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the church. Interment: will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in the Spring.
