Roberta Wavra

Roberta Wavra, 59, of Grand Forks, ND, died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Roberta was born March 8, 1954, the daughter of Jack and Gaylene Wavra. She grew up in Grand Forks where she attended Viking Elementary, Schroeder Jr. High schools, graduating from Red River High School in 1972. She was baptized and confirmed at United Lutheran Church, and was currently a member of Freedom Church, Grand Forks. She is survived by her son, Jay Rice; her mother, Gaylene; her sister, Joni (Brad) Gaudry; her brother Jon; her grandson, Quentin. She was preceded in death by her son, Chad Rice, her father Jack, and her brother Mark. Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 30, 2013 in Memorial Park North Cemetery, Grand Forks.
