Ethelyn Mae Bartuli, 97, Grand Forks, went to meet her heavenly Father Tuesday April 2, 2013 at Altru Hospital. Ethelyn was born to Peter and Elsie (Styrlund) Voiss on October 9, 1915 in Grand Forks, ND. She attended school in Grand Forks and graduated from Grand Forks Central in 1933. Ethelyn married Henry (Hank) Bartuli August 23, 1939. They resided in Fargo, Chicago, Grand Forks and Crookston. Henry passed away in January of 1994. Ethelyn returned to Grand Forks, after residing in Crookston for almost 40 years. After graduating, Ethelyn was employed at Northwestern Bell and as a beautician. While in Crookston she worked at Montague Floral for many years. She enjoyed decorative painting, quilt making, decorating her home, and she did beautiful work in whatever she pursued. She also enjoyed word puzzles. She was a member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Crookston and continued that affiliation when she moved to Grand Forks. She is survived by her three children, Grayme (Mary) Rosemount, MN, Nancy O'Halloran, Grand Forks, Diane Brenno Grand Forks; grandchildren: Pamela Richardson, Gina Roberts, Lisa Schaum, Teddy Obregon, Craig O'Halloran, Dawn Granger, James O'Halloran, Richard O'Halloran, Robert O'Halloran, Ryan O'Halloran; great grandchildren: Nicole Lafferty, Amber Lafferty, Kirsten Lewison, Caitlyn Obregon, Kayla Gelinas, Megan Granger, Jordan Granger, Emily O'Halloran, Brandon O'Halloran, Alexis O'Halloran, Jayme O'Halloran, Thomas O'Halloran, Cassidy O'Halloran, Leah O'Halloran, Samantha O'Halloran, Darrick Richardson, Bailey Richardson, Danielle Roberts, Riley Roberts, Miranda Roberts; great-great grandchildren: Sara Beth Granger, Caden Gene Gelinas, Delores Gelinas, Genesis Bergley and Scarlett Bergley; brothers: Kenneth (Vivian) Voiss, Neenah, WI and Gerald (Donna) Voiss, Grand Forks. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Henry, siblings, Doris Harter, Lyle Voiss, Irma Gerou, Margorie Boyle, Adrian Voiss, Darrell Voiss, Donald Voiss, Jeannie Storbakken and Alan Voiss. Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. in the Havig-Heen Auditorium, Valley 4000 Square, Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be held ½ hour prior to the start of the service in the auditorium.
