Leonora J. Wisener, 83, Grand Forks, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in 4000 Valley Square - Woodside Village. Leonora was born May 7, 1929 to O. A. and Mina (Ensrud) Anderson on a farm on the shores of Stump Lake in the Rural Pekin, North Dakota area. Leonora attended Wamduska Grade School through the 8th grade. She attended Pekin High School, graduating in the class of 1947. She moved to Fargo where she was employed in the office of Standard Oil Company for 3 years. She moved to Longview, Washington where she was employed in the office at Weyerhauser Timber Company for 10 years. She accepted a job as bookkeeper for Longview Concrete, a position she held until she retired in 1983. Leonora was a member of University Lutheran Church in Grand Forks. Leonora and Carlton Wisener were united in marriage on August 6, 1954 at Longview, Washington. Mr. Wisener died in 1995. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 4 sisters, and 3 brothers. Memorial Service: will be 2:00 p.m Saturday, April 13, 2013 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation: will be for one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. Inurnment: Memorial Park North Cemetery Columbarium, Grand Forks. Memorials: are preferred to University Lutheran Church or Parkwood Place, both in Grand Forks.
