Ardis Moe

Ardis "Ardy" Marie Moe, 62, of Grand Forks, ND passed away on May 31st, 2013. She passed away peacefuly at home surrounded by her family. Ardy was born in Grand Forks, ND on March 13, 1951 to Clifford and LaVerne (Schroeder) Lenz. She grew up in Northwood, ND and graduated from Northwood High School in 1969. She attended Aakers Business College. She held various editing positions over the course of her career. Her most recent (and favorite) position was as the Church Historian for Holmes United Methodist Church. On August 19, 1972, Ardy married the love of her life and soulmate Bryan Lee Moe. They began their married life in California. In 1989, they moved back to North Dakota. Ardy enjoyed spending time with her family, researching family history, gardening, interior decorating and taking roadtrips with her brother Russ. Ardy is survived by her children, James (Amanda), Williston, ND, Tina (Jason) Byron, Bloomington, MN, and Randall, Williston, ND; grandchildren, Ethan, Jace and Blake, Williston, ND; brothers and sisters, Bernie Lenz, Northwood, ND, Kelly (Dawn) Lenz, Hatton, ND, Marlene (Merle) Deimert, Airdrie, Alberta, Canada, Laurie (Jim) Yates, Northwood, ND, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan; son Erick; parents LaVerne and Clifford; brothers, Steve and Russ; sister-in-law, Dawn; and great-niece, Morgan. Memorial Services: 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
