Gordon P. Rosinski

Gordon Patrick Rosinski, 87, of Grand Forks, ND died Saturday, July 13, 2013 in his home. Gordon P. Rosinski was born on December 2, 1925 in rural Lawton, ND the son of Frank and Jessie (Jonas-Matejcek) Rosinski. He attended rural school. Gordon was united in marriage to Marjorie Nyhus in Grand Forks on November 15, 1952. They had one son, Patrick in 1957 and resided in Lawton, ND where they farmed. They later moved to Grand Forks to manage the Ambassador Apartments. Marge passed away on March 31, 2009. Gordon is survived by a son Patrick (Judy) Rosinski of Grand Forks; granddaughter, Lisa; grandson Wesley; great grandson, Braxton and great granddaughter, Jerzee; a brother, George "Joe" (Doris) Rosinski; several nieces and nephews. Gordon was preceded in death by his wife, Marge; parents' five sisters, Nelle Matejcek, Bessy Matejcek, Adeline Sparrow, Florence Honkola and Irene Gibbons; five brothers, Edward Matejcek, Albert Matejcek, Frank Matejcek, Alvin Rosinski and Joey Rosinski. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, July 18, 2013 at 3:00 PM in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Interment will take place at a later date in Lawton, ND.
