Alice M. Liuska, 78, Grand Forks, died Tuesday, September 10, 2013 in Valley Memorial Homes Eldercare Center. Alice Mae Seaton was born in Grand Forks on June 28, 1935 to Glen and Mae (Landers) Seaton. Alice was raised and educated in Grand Forks. She worked at the Tip Top Café, and was also employed by Drees Farms, Greenberg Farms, and Associated Potato Growers during potato harvests. She also cared for children and was a senior companion at the Grand Forks Senior Center. She enjoyed BINGO, animals, and garage sales. Alice married Eli Liuska on November 8, 1953 in Grand Forks. Eli died September 10, 1994 Alice is survived by a son, Glen (Nadine) Liuska, Wing, ND; daughters, Mary (Roger) Jarvis, Austintown, OH, Betty (Jim) Getchell, Burkburnett, TX; son-in-law, Mark Koller, Grand Forks; grandchildren, Chelsea, Melissa, Matthew, Cody, Jeff, Kevin, Nathan and Meghan; great-grandchildren, Lillian Jarvis, and Kail Eli; a brother, Orville, Seaton, Vancouver, WA; a sister, Ethel Jones, Vancouver, WA. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Virgil, an infant brother Robert, and her daughter, Liz Koller. Funeral Services: 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks. In Lieu of Flowers: the family prefers memorials.
