S. Jeanette Ferrie

S. Jeanette Ferrie, 86, of Grand Forks, died Sunday, September 15, 2013 at the Valley 4000 Woodside Village Hearthstone unit in Grand Forks. Jeanette was born December 1, 1926, in Almora Township, MN, the daughter of James & Euna Gail (Frazer) Rindy. She attended school and high school in Henning, MN graduating in June 1944. She went on to college in Moorhead State Teachers College & UND where she received a Master's Degree in 1970. She married Donald L. Ferrie in 1947. They had 3 children. Donald died in 1991. Jeanette is survived by Carol (David) Vandergon of Devils Lake, ND, Bobbie Haynes of Biggar, Sask, Canada, and Doug (Darlene) Ferrie of Thompson, ND; 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald; 2 brothers, 1 infant sister, and great-granddaughter, Ally Grace Hiebert. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18th at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND 58201. VISITATION: One hour prior to the service at Amundson's.
