June S. Jenson

June S. Jenson, 76, Reynolds, ND, died Friday, October 11, 2013 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. June Gilbertson was born June 17, 1937 in McVille, ND the daughter of Sever and Clara (Larson) Gilbertson. She was raised and educated near Niagara, ND and graduated from high school in Petersburg, ND in 1955. June attended college in Mayville, ND, then taught in rural schools. June married Ralph Jenson on June 29, 1958 near Niagara, ND. They lived in Germany until 1960 when they moved to Reynolds, ND where they lived and farmed for many years. June was very much of a people person and enjoyed visiting and serving others. Survivors include her husband, Ralph, Reynolds, ND; daughter, Julie (Robert) Koepp, Colfax, WI; son, Ron (Lorie) Jenson, Lino Lakes, MN; grandchildren, Kristi, Amy and Jenna Koepp and Clara, Matthew and William Jenson; twin sister, Jean Kruger, Grand Forks. June was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Goodwin, Glen and Dale, and a sister, Carol Slettebak. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, October, 15, 2013 in Faith Evangelical Free Church, 1400 24th Ave S, Grand Forks. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be 2:30 PM Tuesday in Americus Cemetery of Reynolds, ND. Memorials could be directed to one of June's favorite ministries, Child Evangelism Fellowship.
