LeAnn Faye (Jacobson) Larson, 63, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, in her home in Grand Forks. LeAnn was born April 2, 1950, in Detroit Lakes to Jewitt & Lorraine (Opsahl) Jacobson. In 1965 the family moved to Wahpeton. She graduated from Wahpeton High School in 1968. LeAnn began the LPN program at the North Dakota State School of Science, completing it in 1969. She married Dwight Moses in 1969. They farmed by Noonan, ND. LeAnn worked at the Noonan Nursing Home until opening a fabric store in Crosby, ND. She was a talented sewer and enjoyed knitting. The family moved to Grand Forks in 1984 at which time LeAnn returned to her nursing profession as a charge nurse for Valley Memorial Homes. She enjoyed caring for the elderly and those with Alzheimer's. LeAnn loved being a grandmother and spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. LeAnn is survived by her children, Chad (Andrea) Moses, Alicia (Mike) Moreland & Cory Moses; grandchildren, Kelsey, Shaylee, Ali, Aiden and Chase; sister, Jan (Mike) Benson as well as some aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Sharon Lutheran Church 1720 S 20th St in Grand Forks. VISITATION: Friday, October 18, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with a 7pm prayer service at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND 58201. Visitation will continue for the hour prior to the service at the church. INTERMENT: Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
