Shirley Frasier

Shirley Elizabeth Frasier, 90, of Grand Forks, entered into eternal peace on Saturday, November 9, 2013, at Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, surrounded by her family. Shirley was Born December 19, 1922 in Zell, South Dakota, the daughter of the late Albert and Dora Schade. She resided in Redfield, South Dakota until her marriage to the late Leonard Frasier on October 6, 1948. She was an avid gardener and devoted her life to her family. She is survived by her sons, Leonard "Butch" Frasier, Donnie Frasier, Eugene (Christine) Frasier; daughters, Barbara (Rodney) Litzinger, Margaret (John) Zelinski; granddaughters, Sandra (Andrew) Spellmeyer, Robin Frasier, Jaime (Brad) Olson, Kristen (Jared) Young, Nicole Zelinski; great grandsons, Carter, Jackson, Samuel, Elijah and Jayden; and Shirley's cousins who were so special in her life. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Frasier (2006); brothers, William Schade and Leo Schade; sister, Zona (Joe) Lutter; nephew, Dennis Lutter, and grandson, John Paul Zelinski. God has opened his arms and welcomed Shirley into his kingdom. Those we love remain with us. always. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 15, 2013 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and will continue Friday for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks.
