William "Billy" C. Hotvedt

William "Billy" C. Hotvedt, 36, of East Grand Forks, MN died Friday, November 15, 2013 in his home. William Curtis Hotvedt was born on July 13, 1977 in Grand Forks, ND the son of Curtis and Betty (Soderberg) Hotvedt. He grew up and attended school in East Grand Forks. Billy worked for Folson Farms in East Grand Forks. Billy had a passion for music and playing the guitar he also enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and took great pride in and truly enjoyed working on the farm. Billy is survived by his daughter, Layla Hotvedt, Grand Forks; father Curtis Hotvedt, Lakeland, FL; brother, Kirk (Danielle) Hotvedt, East Grand Forks, MN; sister, Angela Hotvedt, Lakeland, FL; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Billy was preceded in death by his mother, Betty; grandparents, Evangeline (Alvin) Soderberg and Norman(Lillian) Hotvedt. Funeral service will be on Thursday, November 21, 2013 at 2:00 PM in Bethany Lutheran Church, East Grand Forks, MN. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 6:30PM in Amundson Funeral Home, and also for the hour before the service in the church. Interment will be in the Bethany Cemetery, East Grand Forks.
