Diane K. Brown

Diane K. Brown, 47, Grand Forks, ND died Thursday, November 21, 2013 in Altru Hospital of Grand Forks, ND. Diane K. Storstad was born April 30, 1966 in Grand Forks, the daughter of Kenneth and Darlene (Kimble) Storstad. She was raised on a farm near Manvel, ND and attended Middle Grove Lutheran Church which always remained close to her heart. She graduated from high school in Oslo, MN in 1984. Diane married Randy Brown on December 1, 1984 in Manvel. They moved to Temecula, CA where Diane attended Mt. San Jacinto College. They moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1988 and to Fargo, ND in 1997. Diane truly was a gift from God, with the biggest heart to all of those who knew her. Being an amazing mom to her precious children was her number one priority. She took great pride in being the best hockey mom, wife, sister, aunt and friend. Diane was always volunteering her time and effort in anything that was important to her children. She also ran the Fargo Marathon several times and was very active in Nativity Catholic Church of Fargo, ND. Survivors include, the love of her life, Randy Brown, Fargo, ND; daughter, Kaitlin Brown; son, Colin Brown, both of Grand Forks; grandchild, Ivy Krenelka; sister, Karla (Sam) Braaten, Manvel, ND; brothers, Dean Storstad, Fargo, ND, Darren (Heidi) Storstad, Lindon, UT and Kevin (Maureen) Storstad, Grand Forks; grandmother, Tillie Kimble, Roseau, MN; half-sister, Tonja Saylor, Fargo, ND; sister-in-law, Kristy Storstad, Grand Forks; other family, Roy and Rosemary Brown, Grand Forks and Robert (Jill) Brown, Duluth, MN along with numerous nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by her parents; brother, David and step-father, William Roberts. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 26, 2013 in St. Timothy's Catholic Church of Manvel, ND. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks, ND.
