Mark Brenna

Mark Brenna, 56, Grand Forks, died January 2, 2014 in Altru Hospital. Mark was born January 21, 1957, the son of Willard and Ione (Block) Brenna. He grew up in Grand Forks and attended Red River High School. In 1991, Mark and his then wife, Suzie were blessed with their daughter Lara, of whom Mark was very proud. Mark liked to go deer hunting, fishing and playing hockey. He was a quiet man that was good with his hands and was always willing to help a friend or family member. Mark is survived by his daughter Lara Brenna, Bismarck, brothers; David (Joanne), Terry, Robert, James Brenna, his nieces and nephew, and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved aunts and uncles. Memorial service will be held Sunday, January 5, 2014 at 2:00 pm in Amundson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Burial will be held at a later date in in spring in Evanger Lutheran Church Cemetery.
