Dale H Christianson

Dale H. Christianson, 75, Grand Forks, ND, died Monday, January 13, 2014 at home. Dale was born March 26, 1938 to G. Leonard and Myrtle (Bjerke) Christianson at Sharon, ND. He attended elementary and high school in Mayville, ND. Dale served in the U. S. Army at Ft. Ord, CA and Ft. Story, VA. He attended Mayville State University and Interstate Business College in Fargo. Dale married Ruth Lee on October 30, 1963. He was employed by Kielty Motors, Grand Forks, The Chrysler Center and Honda of Grand Forks Dale enjoyed traveling, sports, square dancing, puzzles, being with his family and his beloved pet, Toby. Dale is survived by his wife, Ruth; one son, Dean, Grand Forks; daughters, Debbie (Jerry) Nelson, Grand Forks and Lori (Troy) Joritz, Bismarck, ND; grandchildren, Delilah Robb, Matthew Johnson, Josh Johnson, Katie Nelson, Kyle Joritz, Brittany Joritz and Brooke Joritz; and by great grandsons, Luke and Teddy. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, January 16, 2014 in Augustana Lutheran Church of Grand Forks. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery of Grand Forks.
