Carol Ann Thompson

Carol A. Thompson, 69, of Grand Forks, ND passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Valley Eldercare in Grand Forks. She was born and raised in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Sonny and Lyn Fosness. In 1962 she married Bob Morris and moved to Savannah, GA. In 1976, Carol returned to Grand Forks to be near family. In 1991 she married Dennis Thompson, who preceded her in death. Carol will be remembered for her volunteer work at the Dak-Minn Blood Bank, her unconditional dedication to her family, and her love of animals. She will be lovingly missed by her father; two children- Jana Morris and Robbie Morris; granddaughter Zoe Morris; brother Robin (Jennifer) Fosness; nephew Tom (Julie) Fosness; niece Katie (Adam) Pautsch; and extended family members. According to Carol's wishes, in lieu of a funeral, the family will host a Celebration of Life on Sunday, February 9 at 2pm in the courtyard of Park South Condominiums at 3210 Cherry Street in Grand Forks.
