Pauline M Bachmeier

Pauline M. Bachmeier, 84, Grand Forks, ND passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, ND. Pauline was born July 18, 1929 to Benedict and Caroline Schmidt in McHenry County, ND. She married Nick Bachmeier in June 14, 1949. Pauline and Nick had seven children. Pauline enjoyed going to Mass and her faith was very important to her. She enjoyed seeing her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, playing cards and visiting friends at the Senior Citizens Center. Pauline is survived by her children, Leonida (Mike) Strande, daughter in-law Darlene, Charles (Maxine), Gerald, Clem, Clayton and Pauline Bachmeier; grandchildren, Paul and Katrina Strande, Jeremy, Justin and Jared Bachmeier, Christina, Rebecca and Eric Bachmeier, Kristen and Erin Bachmeier; great grandchildren, Wade and Ryan Strande, and Nora Strande, Austin Olheiser, Molly, Joslyn and Dawson Bachmeier, Jaden, Brooke, Danica and Zander Bachmeier, Sydney and Logan Zielinski; five sisters and one brother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Nick and by her son, Ralph. Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 11, 2014 in St. Jude's Catholic Church of Thompson, ND. Visitation will be an hour before the Funeral Mass in the church. Burial will be in St. Jude's Catholic Cemetery in the spring.
