Madonna "Betty" Cobban

Madonna "Betty" E. Cobban, 92, of Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, March 16, 2014 in her home. Madonna Elizabeth Cobban was born on February 7, 1922, in Milnor, ND the daughter of Meddie and Mary (Bickett) Bertrand. She grew up and attended school in Cando, ND and graduated from high school there. She married George Cobban on August 6, 1943. Madonna worked for Baker Electric COOP until retiring on Feb., 29, 1984. Madonna is survived by daughter, Jan Cobban, Grand Forks, ND. Six Grandchildren; twelve Great Grandchildren; and one Great Great Grandaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband George Cobban who passed away on July 5, 1993; and a son, Patrick Cobban, A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Holy Family Catholic Church, Grand Forks. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 7:00 PM in Amundson Fuenral Home. Interment will be in the Cando Catholic Cemetery, Cando, ND.
