*SERVICES FOR CORRINE ROCH HAVE BEEN POSTPONED* Funeral Services will be 4:30 PM Wednesday April 2, 2014 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a 6:00 PM Prayer Service in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Corrine Roch, age 73, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2014 in the Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home Larimore, ND. Corrine Marjorie Naas entered this world on April 13, 1940 at Deaconess Hospital of Grand Forks, the first of six children born to Dan and Adelaide (Clemetson) Naas, and the first grandchild of Carl and Clara (Myhre) Clemetson, She was baptized in the Christian faith on June 9, 1940 at Middle Grove Lutheran Church near Mekinock, ND and confirmed at St. john Lutheran Church of Red Lake Falls, MN on June 20, 1954. She grew up in Terrebonne Township in Red Lake County, MN and attended Mentor Public School, graduating in 1958. "Corky" was her nickname in her youth. After graduation, she cooked and cleaned for her grandparents and Uncle Earl Clemetson, and also worked on the potato harvesters near Crookston. She was united in marriage to Ronald Roch on February 18, 1965 and to this union one son, Brian was born. Brian was the light of her life and she loved him dearly. Corrine eventually moved to Grand Forks where she lived as a boarder for many years at 1717 University Ave until she got her own apartment at 12 ½ S. 3rd Street in the City Center Mall. She worked for 13 years at the snack bar of the Northeast Human Service Center. She moved to the Good Samaritan Home in March of 2006 after she could no longer live on her own. Corrine enjoyed playing BINGO and collecting and giving cards and gifts. She was an enthusiastic picture taker at family events and gatherings. Her scrapbooks from her early years were full of cards, announcements, pressed flowers, mementos, pictures and her written memories. She loved celebrating her birthday and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Survivors include her son, Brian Roch, Grand Forks; Brian's father, Ronald Roch, Larimore; siblings, Gwen Johnson, Fosston, MN, Shurleen Adams, Thief River Falls, MN, Ruth (Frank) Morrison, Jacksonville, FL, Dana (Hans) Fossum, Ryken, Norway and Dale Naas, Mentor, MN; aunts, Arlene Clemetson and Maycille Clemetson, Grand Forks; nieces and nephews and many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers -in-law, Rick Adams and Roger W. Johnson; special friends, Roger and Joe; aunts uncles and several cousins. The family would like to thank the staff of the Good Samaritan Home for their kind and compassionate care for the past eight years and Hospice of the Red River Valley. *Funeral Services will be 4:30 PM Tuesday April 1, 2014 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a 6:00 PM Prayer Service in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will continue for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Middle Grove Lutheran Cemetery, Mekinock, ND at a later date.
