Milton C. Holweger

Milton C. Holweger, 76, Grand Forks, died Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Milton Calvin Holweger was born in Grand Forks County, North Dakota to Fred and Lena (Holweger) Holweger on May 30, 1937. He attended school at Mekinock, North Dakota and Central High School in Grand Forks. Milton was employed by Rydell Chevrolet, Dave's Radiator Shop, Holweger Excavating and Altendorf Trucking in Grand Forks. He enjoyed fishing, snowcatting, racing, and motorcycling. Milton is survived by two sons, Steven (Charlene) Holweger, Burnsville, MN, and Bruce Holweger, Williston, ND; grandchildren, Anna (Shayne) Klatt, Chris, Amy, Casey, Shauna, and Cole Holweger, Tara Skari; great-grandchildren, Karly, Laquan, Grayson, and Kaden. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Wesley Holweger, and 12 brothers and sisters. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2014 in Hope Evangelical Covenant Church, 1601 17th Ave South, Grand Forks. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will be later in the spring in Memorial Park South Cemetery.
