Frank Donarski

Frank L. Donarski, 73, Grand Forks, North Dakota died Saturday, April 5, 2014 in Valley Memorial Home Eldercare, Grand Forks. Frank was born on October 7, 1940 in Crookston, MN the son of Frank and Belle Donarski. Frank married Elaine Johnson on October 14, 1961 in Thief River Falls, MN. Together they had one daughter. Frank worked for Mehrkens Farms Inc. for many years and was also parts manager for Arctic Cat and yard foreman for Home Lumber, all of Thief River Falls. The family moved to Grand Forks in 1981 where Frank worked for K-Mart until his retirement in 2006. Frank also served 23 years in the Army National Guard and retired with the rank of E7. Frank enjoyed spending time with family and was passionate about both the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Twins. Frank is survived by his wife, Elaine; daughter, Holly; son-in-law, Tom; two brothers; and one sister as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, by two brothers and one sister. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 8, 2014 in Sharon Lutheran Church of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery of East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
