Scott Jeffrie Demlow

Scott Jeffrie Demlow, 62, of Grand Forks, ND, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Altru Hospital Grand Forks, ND. Scott was born November 10, 1951 in Beech Grove, Indiana, the son of James and Francis Demlow. He graduated from John Marshall High School of Indianapolis, Indiana. Scott married Jeanie Demarest June 25, 1971, in Indianapolis, IN. They moved to Grand Forks in August of 1978, to teach at the former Bible Baptist Christian School until 1987. He also worked at Hugos until the flood of 97', and was currently employed at LM Wind Power as a team lead from 1999-2014. Our dad's greatest pride in life were his five children and twelve grandchildren. He enjoyed cooking for his family, golfing, playing horseshoes, telling knock-knock jokes, gardening with his wife and family backyard BBQ's. Scott is survived by spouse, Jeanie, Son, Jason (Cara) Demlow, North Pole, Alaska; Daughters, Jennifer (Rock) Desmarais, Bend, OR, Julie (Paul) Morrison, Fishkill, NY, Joy Beth (Timothy) Bailey, Grand Forks, ND, Martha Demlow, Grand Forks, ND; Grandchildren, Meghan, Olivia, Madison, Jovie, Gracie, Colby, Caitlyn, Lindsay, Ashley, Guy, Tucker and Lucy; Half-sister, Barbara Demlow, Anderson, IN; Aunt, Maxine Arbuckle-Mundell, Indianapolis, IN. Scott was preceded in death by his parents, and grandson, Grant P. Morrison. FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 23 at the Bible Baptist Church in Grand Forks. VISITATION: Tuesday, April 22, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Bible Baptist Church with an abbreviated service at 7:00 p.m. INTERMENT: Memorial Park North Cemetery of Grand Forks, ND A guestbook may be signed or viewed at www.amundsonfuneralhome.com
