Annie Krogstad

Annie Krogstad, 91, (formerly of Reynolds), died June 27th at 4000 Valley Square Woodside Village in Grand Forks. Annie was born November 29, 1922, in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of Targie & Karen (Haugen) Brokke. She grew up and attended schools in Americus Township, rural Reynolds, ND. Annie married Delmer Krogstad on November 6, 1943. They made their home in Reynolds raising 6 children. Delmer passed away April 22, 2010. She enjoyed spending time with family, baking lefse and playing dice. Annie enjoyed making numerous quilts for her church and family. Annie is survived by daughters, Wanda (Darrel) Knutsvig of Buxton, Carmen (Bruce) Tufte of Grand Forks, and Carolyn (Randy) Leiss of Buxton; sons, David (Margie) Krogstad of Arizona, Allen Krogstad of Reynolds, and Larry Krogstad of Arizona; 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings, Raymond (Esther) Brokke, Ruben Brokke, Ione Lautt and Lawrence (Jeanette) Brokke; brother-in-law, Adolph Krogstad; sisters-in-law, Mildred Nelson & Jean Krogstad, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer; brothers, Bennie, Olaf, Clifford, Harold, Vernon; sisters, Carrie Krogstad and Thordis Sannes. FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Zion Lutheran Church in Reynolds. VISITATION: Tuesday, July 1 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND 58201.
