Isis Lynch

Isis E. Lynch, 89, Grand Forks, ND, died Thursday, July 24, 2014 in Valley Memorial Home Woodside Village. Isis Elizabeth Campbell was born July 4, 1925 in Cavalier, ND the daughter of James and M. Elizabeth (McHolland) Campbell. She was raised and educated in Grand Forks and graduated from Central High School. She also attended UND. While in College, Isis met John Spencer Lynch. They were married September 16, 1945 in East Grand Forks, MN. They lived in Grand Forks where Isis enjoyed the Homemakers Club, The North Star Quilting Club and the Rebecca Lodge. Isis was an amateur radio operator and member of the Forx Amateur Radio Club. Survivors include her daughters, Karen L. (James) Noss, Grand Forks and Laurie Lynch, East Hartford, CT; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren Isis was preceded in death by her husband, John Spencer Lynch in 2000 and an infant daughter, Joan Marie Funeral Services will be 10:30 AM Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in Wesley United Methodist Church of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery of Grand Forks.
