Evelyn Mildred Olson

Evelyn Mildred Olson - Age 98 Beloved wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and great-great-grandma died peacefully at her son Glen & Delores's (Moser) home in Eden Prairie, MN on July 22, 2014. Evelyn was born on November 19, 1915 in Adams, North Dakota, the daughter of Helmer and Minnie (Lerohl) Nordby. She married Clifford Olson on Dec. 9, 1933 in Devils Lake, ND. She retired from Pillsbury in Grand Forks and was best known for her love and sharing of music; she and Cliff played in many local events together; her talents included the guitar, ukulele, the organ and singing. They raised two sons Robert and Glen. Evelyn was predeceased in death by her husband, Cliff Olson and son, Robert and daughter-in-law, Ann Olson, and son, Glen Olson. She will be dearly missed and is survived by daughter-in-law, Delores Olson (Moser), seven grandchildren: Bobbi-Ann (Mark) Driscoll, John Olson, Julie Olson, Steven (Heather) Olson, Linda (Jeff) Sullivan, Kristi (Gino) Gori, Kent-Erik (Molly) Olson and thirteen great grandchildren: Heather, Sean, Katie, Tara, Ryan, Garrett, Sophia, Jake, Katie, Shelby, Karina, Robert and Max and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Ella & Rose. Services are on Wednesday, July 30th at 11am in Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks, ND. Visitation starts at 10 am Wednesday before the service. Interment will be in Memorial Park South Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND. "What matters most in life is who you loved and who loved you" We will miss you Evelyn!
