Wing Peterson

Wing Peterson, 80, of Grand Forks passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in Valley Eldercare Center, Grand Forks, ND. Wing was born on September 11, 1932 in Thailand, the daughter of Pa Sojinda and Mrs Ma. She grew up and attended school in Thailand. She married Lester Peterson on July 8, 1969. Wing worked for JR Simplot in Grand Forks for 25 years before retiring in 2005. Wing was a very good hearted woman and a very hard worker. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed. Wing is survived by her daughters, Somchit Carberry, Sommai Peterson; son, Dean Peterson; one sister and one brother residing in Thailand; four sisters-in-law; eight grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Wing was preceded in death by her husband Lester in 2004. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home.
