Thomas Westwood

Thomas Westwood, 70, Decatur, IL, died Monday, September 1, 2014 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Thomas was born October 11, 1943 in Cleveland, OH, the son of George and Margaret (Antosh) Westwood. He was raised by his grandmother, Susan Antosh in Cleveland, after the death of his parents at a young age. He served in the Air Force from February 1962 to February 1966 in Grand Forks, ND. Tom married DellaRae Fontaine on August 14, 1963 in Britton, SD. They lived in several states where Tom worked in several hardware and lumber stores before his retirement in Decatur, IL. Tom is survived by his wife DellaRae, children, Cathrine (Gene) Rudland, Thomas (Christine) Westwood, Theresa Westwood, Laura (David) Carpenter, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard. Visitation will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 3:00 p.m. Following the prayer service burial will be held in Memorial Park South Cemetery.
