Linda Jenkins

Linda M. Jenkins, 69, Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, September 21, 2014 in Altru hospital of Grand Forks. Linda Marie Johnson was born October 2, 1944 in Hallock, MN, the daughter of Guy and Judith (Lee) Johnson. She was raised and educated in Newfolden, MN and graduated from high school there. Linda lived in Thief River Falls, MN and in Warren, MN before moving to Grand Forks. She graduated from Aaker's Business College then worked for Credit Service Bureau. She also worked for J. R. Simplot for 25 years before retiring in 2010. Linda enjoyed her grandchildren, crossword puzzles, game shows, cards, trivia, dogs, reading books and going for walks. Linda married Larry Jenkins in 1988 in Mesa, AZ. He survives along with children, Lee Jenkins, Fargo, ND; Melissa (Greg) Nordrum, Grand Forks, Layne (Jenni Sannes) Jenkins, Fargo, ND, Beth (Chris) Wilson, Mekinock, ND, Kay (Dave Pope) Jenkins, Sidney, MT, Lance (Ruth Davis) Jenkins, Grand Forks; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister, Gwen (Ron) Molsbarger, Grand Forks. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, by sisters Marcie and Arlys; a brother, Terry; and by nephews, Shannon Molsbarger and Mike Molsbarger. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, September 25, 2014 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks, ND. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home. Burial will be in Opdahl Cemetery of Newfolden, ND.
