Sherrill Orn Brundell

Sherrill Orn Brundell, 73, of Grand Forks, ND passed away October 15,2014 in her home, surrounded by family following a brief illness. Sherrie was born August 12, 1941 in Fargo, ND. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Blanche Orn of Lisbon, ND; and by her oldest son Allan Jr. Sherrie is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Allan Dale; children, Paul (Nina) Brundell of Cedar Rapids, IA, Lt. Col. Pamella (Lt. Col. Frank) Zane USAF of Fairfax Station, VA, Tamera (Matt) Preston of Cedar Rapids, IA, Kevin Brundell of Grand Forks, ND; Sister, Mildred (Tom) Combs of Sebree, KY, brother, Charlie (Pat) Orn of Lisbon, ND; Grandchildren; Alec, Andrew, & Jack Brundell; Kori Thomas and Brady Zane, Hunter & Emma Preston. She loved her family and friends dearly and had many hobbies, including; sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking, gardening, canning, and playing cards. She was a beautician and waitress for many years before baking full time. Her last employment, was at Hardee's were she was awarded their Biscuit Maker of the Year award. Sherrie will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers the family has opened the Sherrie Brundell Memorial Fund and requests that if you wish to make a contribution please make your check out to that fund and mail to the Gate City Savings Bank, 3205 S. Washington, Grand Forks, ND 58201. A visitation service celebrating Sherrie's life will be held on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2014 at Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 South 42nd St., Grand Forks from 4 to 6 PM with a prayer service at 6PM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM in Wesley United Methodist Church, 1600 4th Ave N, Grand Forks. Inurnment will be in the Devils Lake Cemetery, Devils Lake, ND.
