Cheryl "Sherry" Spicer, 68, Grand Forks, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 in her home. Cheryl was born December 30, 1945 in Grand Forks, the daughter of C. Vern and Catherine (Bliven) Bostrom. She lived in and attended school in Grand Forks, graduating from Central High School. Sherry married Wayne Spicer on July 9, 1977 in the Assembly of God Church. They made their home in Grand Forks, where she worked for the Grand Forks Telephone Answering Service. Sherry loved to fish, camp, and take scenic drives, especially in the fall. She was an avid reader, and liked to watch Twins baseball, UND hockey, and the Minnesota Wild. Sherry is survived by her husband Wayne, Grand Forks, children; Wade Ericson, Sioux Falls, SD, Dawn Ericson, Seattle area, WA, Dann (Mona) Ericson, Sioux Falls, SD, Beth Ericson, Sioux Falls, SD, sister Kathy (Dave) Rau, Grand Forks, brothers-in-law, Ron "Jeff" Jeffrey, Grand Forks, Jerry Cossette of AZ; 11 grandchildren, her beloved cat "Fuge", and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her sisters; Beverly, Lois, and Jean. A memorial service will be held Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Amundson Funeral Home. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
