Myles K. Anderson June 30, 1936 - October 16, 2014. He was born in Duluth, Minnesota the son of the late Ralph W. and Eleanor M. (Dahl) Anderson. He graduated from Denfeld High School in 1954. He married the love of his life, his high school sweetheart, Claudia Helene Moberg on August 13, 1955. They lived in Duluth until moving to Grand Forks in 1959. Myles was a salesman for McKesson Robbins until 1976 when he changed careers and opened American Handicraft in downtown Grand Forks. In 1978 they owned and operated Craft World in the Columbia Mall and Browse A Bit in the South Forks Plaza until 1988 when he retired. In retirement he worked part time auditing pull tabs for NDAD. He served in the Navy reserve from 1954 -1962 in Duluth and also the Police reserves in Grand Forks. Myles enjoyed woodworking, building a cabin at Maple Lake in 1966, stained glass, and spending time with his family and friends. In later years he enjoyed his Tuesday night dinners out with his good friends. Myles is survived by his wife of 59 years, Claudia; his children: Laurie (David) Cink, Grand Forks; Kris (Roger) Wolff East Grand Forks; and Tim (Lenora) Anderson, Grand Forks. Grandchildren: Jerrid Cink, Alex Gonzalez, Brandie (Eric) Burckhard, Holly (Dan) Flatau, Corey (Jessica) Cink, Samuel Wolff, Laura (Pete) Callan and Nathan Wolff. Great grandchildren: David Cink, Jaidyn Daniel, Maisey Cink, and Eliana Flatau. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Dennis. Funeral services will be Tuesday October 21, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Sharon Lutheran Church with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery North.
