Mabel Marie Boese

Mabel M. Boese, 88, formerly of Grand Forks, died Saturday, October 18, 2014, at the Sanford Health Center in Hillsboro. Mabel was born September 8, 1926, in Pembina, ND, the daughter of Charles & Della (Bruce) Bouvette. She grew up and attended school in Pembina. Mabel moved to Grand Forks and married Vance Ralston. They made their home in Grand Forks. She worked for Sears for many years until her retirement. Mabel enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and most of all spending time with her family. Mabel is survived by her children, Jerry (Cindy) Ralston of Buffalo, MN, and Karen (Dale) Johnson of Buxton, ND; 1 brother and 2 sisters; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Ralston; sons, John and Thomas Ralston; infant great-grandchild, Casey, and 9 brothers and sisters. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND 58201. VISITATION: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
