Donna M. Bosman, 81, Grand Forks, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks with family by her side. Donna Mae Huus was born on May 10, 1933 at Parshall, North Dakota, the daughter of Oscar and Pearl (Paulson) Huus. She attended rural elementary school at Makoti, North Dakota. She graduated from Parshall High School, and later from the University of North Dakota. She was united in marriage to the love of her life, Garfield "Buzz" Bosman on December 28, 1954 at Parshall. Donna taught school at Oslo, Minnesota and eventually became the county nutrionist with the NDSU Extension Office. It was here she introduced many wonderful recipes and was known for a dish called fruit pizza. Donna was a loving wife, devoted mother of four, an active member of an area ladies card club, and a lifetime member of United Lutheran Church. Donna was a very gifted seamstress and provided mending for just about anyone. She loved spending time doing calligraphy and tending to her exceptional flowers. Donna is survived by her sons, Gerald (Kathy) Bosman, and Darin Bosman, all of Grand Forks; grandchildren, Mike, Rachel, Kirstie, Matt, Katie, Stephanie, and Dustin. She is also survived by a brother, Gordon (Bernice) Huus, Parshall, North Dakota; sister, Ardyce (Rick) Haugen, Bismarck, North Dakota; daughter-in-law, Bev Bosman, Moorhead, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Garfield Bosman, sons, Alan and David, a sister, Lorraine, and two brothers, Clayton and Oscar. Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in United Lutheran Church, 324 Chestnut St., Grand Forks. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Prayer Service Tuesday in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks. Interment will be in Memorial Park North Cemetery, Grand Forks.
