Stephen William Lindblom, 52 of Grand Forks N.D., was taken from us so unexpectedly. On November 30th 2014 the sky gained another beautiful star. Stephen was born in Mankato MN on April 1st 1962. It was because of this birth date that he was continuously teased that he was a "fool." As a small child Stephen and his family moved to Denver Colorado. It was there that he graduated high school. Stephen was a funny, funny man. He was known for his sense of humor and his many pranks. Stephen had an ongoing prank with the staff, where he would call the hotel line as a man from a different nationality. He would then ask ridiculous questions to see what they would say. He rarely succeeded for more than a minute or two. Stephen was a lover of German Shepherds. He has in the past had a female Shepherd named Maggie. Most recently a male named Brewster, a female named Halee, and his baby boy named Zippo. Stephen enjoyed playing a good game of dominoes (Bones is what he called it), camping, tinkering with computers, gambling (winning was his favorite), playing guitar, animals of all kinds, pool parties, BBQ's, and hanging out with his family and friends. He was survived by his girlfriend (soul mate) Lori Stratton, his brother Todd (Andre) Lindblom Centennial CO, his sister Sue (Mike) Hryhoryszyn Littleton CO, his nephews Kwane Lamb, Ben Lamb, Cavallero Hart, and Timothy Saudeda, His nieces Tashina Hart, Erin Lindblom, Leah (Matt) Norris, Amy Hendersaon, and many great nieces and nephews. Stephen was also survived by his Honorary Children Kristy (Dylan) Seidel, Samantha (Greg) Westbrook, Jerome Klein, as well as his honorary grandchildren Kaytlen Fitterer, Eathan Pitts, DJ Seidel, Alex Seidel, and Isabella Seidel. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Colleen Lindblom, his sister Linda Hart, Honorary grandson Tayton Fitterer, and beloved dog Brewster Lindblom. Memorial services will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 4:30 p.m. in Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks, North Dakota. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the start of the service.
