Dennis Erwin Bischoff

Dennis "Buck" E. Bischoff, 77, died Thursday, December 04, 2014 at his home in rural Grand Forks. Dennis was born September 8, 1937, in Jamestown, ND, the son of Erwin & Olga (Soleim) Bischoff. He grew up in Robinson and Park River, ND. Dennis was united in marriage to Carole Hajicek and they spent 56 years together. He worked as a musician, artist and carpenter and enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He sang, yodeled, and played guitar with his band "The Country Travelers". He is survived by his wife, Carole; children, Bryon (Denise) of Grand Forks, Dale of Covington, WA, Anita (Kenneth) Larson of Manvel, and Sharla (Lionel) Hoff of Oslo, MN; brothers, Duane (BettySue) of Eugene, OR, Arlis (Mary) of Grafton; sister, Renee (Bob) Manz of Bloomer, WI; 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents. FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 8, at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND.
