Jack A. Grinde

Jack Allen Grinde, 62, Grand Forks, died at home on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 in Grand Forks. Jack was born January 27, 1952, to Russell Sr. and Frances Grinde at St. Michaels Hospital. He attended St. James and graduated from Central High School. Jack was a loving father who cared deeply for his children. They were the light of his life. He was a great dad and an amazing best friend. Jack was a wonderful man who will be dearly missed by so many. Jack is survived by his children, Christopher, Brittany, Jami, Cody, and Dylan, mother, Frances, siblings, Tim, Russell, Dick (Pat), Doug, Jim, Debbie Austreng, Bonnie (Roy) Meldahl, and Patty (Mike) Shecora, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jack was preceded in death by his father, Russell Sr. Grinde, brother, Bill Grinde, sisters-in-law, Lavonne Grinde, Holly Grinde, and nephew, Corey Grinde. Funeral services will be Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Sharon Lutheran Church, Grand Forks. Visitation will be on Monday from 5 to 7 PM with a prayer service at 6:00 PM in Amundson Funeral Home, Grand Forks. Interment will be in Memorial Park North Cemetery, Grand Forks.
