Bailey E. Henke, 18, Grand Forks, died unexpectedly on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Grand Forks. Bailey Evans Henke, the son of Jason Henke and Laura Lilja was born in Grand Forks on May 29, 1996. He grew up in Grand Forks and graduated from Grand Forks Community High School in May, 2014. Bailey enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, shopping, listening to music, Xbox, and collecting hats. He is survived by his parents, Jason and Laura of Minot, ND; brother Casey Guillemette, Grand Forks; sister, Whitney Peters, Newport News, VA; grandmothers, Sharon Henke, Devils Lake, ND and Charlene Lilja, Grand Forks. Aunt, Kari Ward (Steve), Fergus Falls, MN and cousins-Ryan Brown, Telluride, Colorado and Chantelle Ward, St. Paul, MN Aunt, Karla Fisk (Wyatt Flemmer), Beulah, ND and cousins-Chasity Johnson, Zap, ND and Nathan Keller, Beulah, ND and Kelsey Oestreich, Hazen, ND Aunt,Cathy (Hil) Nowacki of Warroad, MN. Children: Kimber (Shawn) Hasbargen and children Isabella, Isaac, and Sophie; David (Krista) Holloway and children Josiah and Jenessa; Chad (Randee) Holloway and daughter Bradlee; and Kyle Nowacki Uncle, Lorin (Stephanie) Lilja of Thief River Falls, MN. Children: Jessie (Will) Johnson and children Aiden, Oliver, Ava, Ella; Josie and McKenna Lilja, and Tatum Peters Uncle, Lee (Kristi) Lilja of Thief River Falls, MN and children Tyler and Kaylee Cousins, Jessica (Chad) Logelin of Middle River, MN, and children Jackson and Aiva Randi (Anthony) Rhode of Thief River Falls, MN and son, Kaden Jade (Michael) Lilja of Mankato, MN and daughter, Ryder He is preceded in death by grandfathers, Eldon Henke, and Larry Lilja; and uncles Charles Lilja and Kevin Conrad. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2014 in Hope Evangelical Covenant Church, 1601 17th Ave. South, Grand Forks. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, January 8, 2014 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks and for one hour prior to the service in the church. The family prefers memorials to the Bailey Henke Scholarship Fund at Community High School in Grand Forks.
