Catherine Kamedula

Catherine P. Kamedula, 52, Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, February 1, 2015 in her home. Catherine Patricia Reed was born July 19, 1962 in Los Angeles, CA the daughter of Bruce and Rosemarie (Gorsky) Reed. She was raised and educated in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from John Bartram High school in 1980. She earned her Associate Degree with focus on being an administrative assistant. She was employed by Bruce Reed and Associates in Philadelphia. Catherine married Michael Kamedula on September 28, 1991 in Philadelphia. They lived in Germany until moving to Park River, ND in 1995. She lived in Warroad, MN where she worked at Heatmor. She later moved to Grand Forks where she worked in the dental office of Dr. Daniel Kelly. Catherine enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, bird watching, crafts, time spent with her family and caring for her pets. She is survived by her husband, Michael, Grand Forks; son, Jeffrey Kamedula, Grand Forks; brother, Brian (Gina) Reed, Delran, NJ; sister, Kristie (Michael) Ristagno, Deptford, NJ; mother-in-law, Joan Kamedula, Millsboro, DE; several nieces and nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by her parents and by her father-in-law. Funeral Services will be 2:00 Saturday, February 7, 2015 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home.
