Janet M. Marwin, 94, Grand Forks, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 in Altru Hospital, Grand Forks. Janet Marion Seiberlich was born to Florian and Josephine (Christian) Seiberlich on February 6, 1920 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was raised and educated in Minneapolis, MN, graduating from Washburn High School and graduating from the University of Minnesota with a BBA degree. She was employed by the Minneapolis District Dental Society as Executive Secretary. Janet married Richard Marwin on August 29, 1942 in Minneapolis. They moved to Grand Forks in 1948. Janet was a member of P.E.O. Chapter AO, Grand Forks and ND Dames Club. Many paintings that displayed her talents as an artist graced her home. She was a longtime supporter of the Circle of Friends Humane Society and a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Grand Forks. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard; son, Bruce; and a brother, Robert Seiberlich. She is survived by her extended family and a host of friends. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 in First Presbyterian Church, 5555 S. Washington St. Grand Forks. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
