Bernice Helen Jacobson

Bernice Helen Jacobson, 93, formerly of Grand Forks, died Sunday, April 19, 2015 at the Red Wing Health Center in Red Wing, MN. Bernice was born November 7, 1921, the daughter of Eli & Julia (Borgen) Wilson in Crookston, MN, where she grew up and graduated from high school. Bernice married Ray Jacobson on March 9, ????. Following Ray's military service they moved to Grand Forks where they made their home. She was a member of University Lutheran Church in Grand Forks. She enjoyed cooking, baking goods, gardening, dining out, traveling, sewing, and most of all spending time with her family. Bernice is survived by her sons, David (Kimberly) Jacobson of Red Wing, MN, Dean (Rebecca) Jacobson of Auburn, CA; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray; infant daughter, Linda; siblings, Elmer, Floyd, Ray, Alice and Evelyn. FUNERAL SERVICE: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, at Amundson Funeral Home. VISITATION: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home. INTERMENT: Memorial Park North Cemetery, Grand Forks, ND.
