Norman M. Landvik

Norman M. Landvik, 82, of East Grand Forks, MN, passed away unexpectedly at his home Wednesday, April 22, 2015. Norman was born July 26, 1932, in Oslo, MN, the son of Leonard F. & Lena Pearl (Holan) Landvik. He was raised and attended schools in Oslo, MN. He married Jean I. Gulson on June 9, 1957, in Warren, MN. They later made their home in East Grand Forks. Norman was very proud of their 57 years of marriage. Norman worked several jobs before becoming disabled. He was a member of the Local 563 for 52 years and enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Jean; children, Deborah Deziel, David Landvik, Bruce Landvik, Michael (Karla Hammer) Landvik, Norma (Richard) O'Halloran; sisters, Iris (Carrol) Johnson and Sharon (James) Bass; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Norman is preceded in death by his parents; son, Norman J. Landvik; siblings, Leonard B., Boiyce V., Clayton E."Jack", Paul P., Jerome J., Maynard E. and James L. Landvik. MEMORIAL SERVICE: 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND. VISITATION: One hour prior to the service at Amundsons.
