Linda Dobson

Linda Dobson, 61, Grand Forks, died Friday, May 1, 2015 at home. Linda Lou Leeson, the daughter of Walter and Evangeline (Weir) Leeson was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on November 10, 1953. Linda attended school at Oslo, Minnesota, and graduated from Oslo High School in 1971. She attended Aaker's Business College in Grand Forks. Linda was employed by Ben Franklin Store in Grand Forks for 23 years and then by Wal-Mart in Grand Forks for 19 years. Linda married Don Dobson on June 15, 1979 at the Federated Church in Grand Forks. She helped many people throughout her life at work and elsewhere. She enjoyed baking lots of items, but caramel rolls and lefse were her specialties. Linda is survived by her husband, Don, Grand Forks; Siblings, Roger (Faye) Leeson, Ardoch, ND, Rodney Leeson, Ardoch, ND, Glenn (Mollie) Leeson, Park Rapids, MN, Barb Leeson, Ardoch, ND, and Gary Leeson, Grand Forks, ND; aunts, Mary Lou Kurtyka and Ann Leeson; several nieces, nephews and cousins; sister-in-law, Arlene (Eugene) Mach; brothers-in-law, Gene Dobson, Ardell (Marilyn) Dobson, Dennis (Sharon) Dobson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Evangeline Leeson Memorial Services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 7, 2015 in Zion United Methodist Church, 1001 24th Ave South, Grand Forks. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in church. Interment will be at Ardoch Cemetery.
