Ann Marie Pelowski

Ann Marie Pelowski, 49, lifelong resident of Grand Forks, ND, passed away peacefully in her sleep, June 4, surrounded by all of her family and Pastor Kristen Larsen-Schmidt of Calvary Lutheran Church. Ann Marie, daughter of Jerome & Marian Pelowski, was born September 14, 1965. She grew up attending Grand Forks Special Education programs and graduated in 1987. She furthered her education by participating in Adult Education courses for many years. She was a confirmed member of Calvary Lutheran Church and was also active in the special needs programs at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in GF. Throughout her life Ann Marie was active in her community, church, family and social circles. Ann Marie loved learning, books, math, music, dance, crafts, basketball, food and family. She was quite an accomplished musician in her own right. Ann Marie worked at Agassiz Enterprise until her retirement in 2011. She is survived by her sisters, Deborah (John) Vonasek of Grand Forks, ND, Brenda (Allan) Depew of Tucson, AZ; brother, Micheal (LouAnn) Endicott, of NY; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and numerous friends who loved her. Ann Marie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Gary; grandparents, Myrtle & Bernard Lovly, Lawrence Knutson, John & Helen Pelowski. A private funeral service will be held.
