Arlene Lucke

Arlene L. Lucke, 77, Grand Forks, ND died Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in Valley Memorial Home Eldercare, Grand Forks. Arlene Laverne Wilson was born November 16, 1937 in Grand Forks, the daughter of Lavern and Zeta (Irwin) Wilson. She was raised and educated near Forest River, ND, then moved to Grand Forks to attend Aaker's Business College. Arlene married Stewart Lucke. They lived near Inkster, ND where Arlene worked for Lucke Manufacturing. In 1976, she moved to Grand Forks where Arlene worked for many years for Gordon's Jewelers. She later worked at the Grand Forks County Courthouse eventually serving as Register of Deeds. Arlene was especially proud of all of her grandchildren. She was also an avid fan of Fighting Sioux Hockey. Survivors include her children, Kim (Dr. Roger) Amundson, Grand Forks, Lynette (Dean) Mueller, Atlanta, GA, Shari (Lynn) Caspers, Burnsville, MN, Randy Lucke, Grand Forks, Dawn (David) Chan, Oronoco, MN, Jill (Rick) Marko, Bloomington, MN, Darren Lucke, Minot, ND, Kyle (Holly) Lucke, Palo Alto, CA; 15 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and an aunt, Beulah Irwin Hodges, Grand Forks. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and by sisters Muriel and Jackie. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, June 13, 2015 in Calvary Lutheran Church of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery of Forest River, ND.
