Linda A. (Kvasager) Wurden, age 88, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family June 14,2015 from complications due to chronic COPD. She was born April 7, 1927 in Walle township ND to Ole and Amanda (Anderson) Kvasager. Linda graduated from GF Central and attended Aaker's Business College which prepared her for a career as a Certified Professional Secretary and bookeeper, working at several GF businesses. Linda married Frederic Wurden on March 17, 1950 and settled in Bygland, splitting her time between farm and family and her career. After retiring she moved to the Branson, MO area, living there for several years before moving back to Minnesota. She enjoyed line dancing and Polka music, attending many dances and regional heritage festivals, and made sure she never missed a major golf tournament on TV. She is preceeded in death by her parents, brothers Elner (Dolores), Howard (Arleen), Kenneth, and Norris Kvasager, sisters Thelma (Elmer) Jenson, and Evelyn (Charles) Charlson. She is survived by her children Valerie, Scott, and Susan (Scott Wagner) Wurden, grandchildren Nathan (Laura), Matthew, and Danny Wurden, Nolin and Eric Wagner, plus many cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Linda's life and reception will be held at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S 42nd St. G Fks ND on June 18th, from 5 - 7 pm. Memorials to donor's choice. Interment at a later date.
