Margaret Adeline Wamstad

Margaret Adeline Wamstad, 88, of Grand Forks, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND. Margaret was born October 21, 1926, in Logan Center, ND, the daughter of Murray & Else (Lovejoy) McKenzie. She grew up in Logan Center and graduated from high school in 1944. She married Marvin Wamstad November 21, 1945, in Aneta, ND. Margaret is survived by her children, Diane Folkedahl of Grand Forks, Becky (Mark)Anderson of Cottage Grove, MN, Terry Wamstad of Baldwin, WI, and Cheryl Reid of Ocala, FL; 8 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; brothers, David (Shirley)McKenzie of Wichita, KS, Jim (Evie) McKenzie of Aneta, ND, and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; infant child, Nancy Kay and sister, Lois Field. FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Amundson Funeral Home 2975 S. 42nd St. Grand Forks, ND. VISITATION: One hour prior to the service. INTERMENT: Hatton City Cemetery, Hatton, ND.
