Susan Swengel

Susan Swengel was born January 1st, 1931. She went to our Lord and Savior on July 4th, 2015 at age 84. Susan was born in Aberdeen, SD to Irving Swengel and Lydia (Barth) Swengel of Aberdeen. She had 1 brother, Bob and 1 sister, Jeany . Susan had 9 children, Sharon, Diane, Douglas, Sandra, Victoria, Renay, Charles, Lana and Micheal. She had more than 25 grandchildren and over 40 great grandchildren. Susan lived in Warren, MN for 7 years with her grandson, Benison Pigeon who was her caregiver. She loved to share the Gospel with everyone she met. She enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart. She loved spending time with family. She was known for her delicious cooking especially her potato salad and her amazing cinnamon rolls. Susan was a very strong willed woman that showed unconditional love and compassion for everyone around her. She was full of Grace and Wisdom that shined through the generations. She is preceded in death by her Father & Mother, Husband, Son, and Grandsons. We lost our Mother, Grandmother but her warm memories will long live in our hearts forever. Her favorite teaching was "I Live, I Move, I have Being in Christ Jesus"! Love you forever & always! Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 8, 2015 in Amundson Funeral Home of Grand Forks. Visitation will be for the hour before the service in the funeral home. burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery of East Grand Forks, MN
